A romp with Sophie at Thruscross Reservoir

My human with the hair and Aunty Hilary like adventures with me and my girlfriend Sophie Vizsla. One of our best places to have adventures is at a splishy splashy place called Thruscross Reservoir.

When the humans made the splishy place called reservoir, they sank a whole village called West End. A village is where houses are. A long time ago, in the village called West End, there was a house called mill where a thing called flax was made. The thing called flax was used to make a thing called linen. The thing called linen was used to make things called sheets and pants and other useful things.  It was an empty village when the humans sunk it, because the thing called flax wasn't made there any more and all the humans had gone away. I don't understand this because I know my humans have things called sheets and pants.

Our adventures mean we get to do lots of zooming and exploring whilst my human with the hair and Aunty Hilary do lots of talking. My human with the hair and Aunty Hilary like talking and me and Sophie Vizsla love zooming.

ME AND SOPHIE VIZSLA EXPLORING
There is an extra zoomy place called wood by the splishy splashy reservoir. Me and Sophie Vizsla zoom very fast in the place called wood and leap over giant sticks. We zoom so fast even the pointy starey flashy thing can't keep up!
THE EXTRA ZOOMY PLACE CALLED WOOD
Sophie Vizsla found a new zooming path in the place called wood, but we weren't going that way. We were going to the thing called careful bridge. The humans that made the thing called careful bridge didn't know about Vizslas and left gaps that our paws can fall through.

THIS WAY HUMANS?
WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT?

ME AND SOPHIE VIZSLA ON THE CAREFUL BRIDGE
After the thing called careful bridge our adventure took us up a thing called rocky hill to a thing called moor. There are lots of sniffy smells there, heather and tussocks, and the best sorts of splishy splashy places called bogs.

WHICH WAY NOW HUMANS?
Me and Sophie Vizsla found a stick and played chase me stick. It was hot playing chase me stick so we stopped for a rest and waited for our humans to catch up.
HAVING A REST

IT WAS A GOOD STICK
We were hot and thirsty after all that zooming so we were pleased to see the splishy splashy reservoir again.
THIS WAY HUMANS!
When we got back to the splishy splashy reservoir there were some flying zoomer birds. These flying zoomer birds were called leave it Oystercatchers and leave it Common Sandpiper. They were making a lot of noise so we chased them away.

After we went swimming we were very tired. It was time to go back to the adventure travel zoomer.
DID THEY REALLY SAY NO ICE CREAM?
The adventure travel zoomer took us to Sophie Vizsla's house. Sophie shares her house and humans with a leave it cat called Jess and a leave it cat called Bella. Aunty Hilary gave me an important lesson about leave it cats. She told me they are special rescue leave it cats. Sophie Vizsla knows all about leave it cats. Leave it cats and special rescue leave it cats have bad tempers and sharp claws that scratch noses. They are not to be messed with.
