A romp with Sophie at Thruscross Reservoir

My human with the hair and Aunty Hilary like adventures with me and my girlfriend Sophie Vizsla. One of our best places to have adventures is at a splishy splashy place called Thruscross Reservoir.

When the humans made the splishy place called reservoir, they sank a whole village called West End. A village is where houses are. A long time ago, in the village called West End, there was a house called mill where a thing called flax was made. The thing called flax was used to make a thing called linen. The thing called linen was used to make things called sheets and pants and other useful things.  It was an empty village when the humans sunk it, because the thing called flax wasn't made there any more and all the humans had gone away. I don't understand this because I know my humans have things called sheets and pants.

SOPHIE VIZSLA WITH A SUNKEN HOUSE
Our adventures mean we get to do lots of zooming and exploring whilst my human with the hair and Aunty Hilary do lots of talking. My human with the hair and Aunty Hilary like talking and me and Sophie Vizsla love zooming.

ME AND SOPHIE VIZSLA EXPLORING
There is an extra zoomy place called wood by the splishy splashy reservoir. Me and Sophie Vizsla zoom very fast in the place called wood and leap over giant sticks. We zoom so fast even the pointy starey flashy thing can't keep up!
THE EXTRA ZOOMY PLACE CALLED WOOD
Sophie Vizsla found a new zooming path in the place called wood, but we weren't going that way. We were going to the thing called careful bridge. The humans that made the thing called careful bridge didn't know about Vizslas and left gaps that our paws can fall through.

THIS WAY HUMANS?
WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT?

ME AND SOPHIE VIZSLA ON THE CAREFUL BRIDGE
After the thing called careful bridge our adventure took us up a thing called rocky hill to a thing called moor. There are lots of sniffy smells there, heather and tussocks, and the best sorts of splishy splashy places called bogs.
SNIFFING SMELLS IN THE TUSSOCKS

WHICH WAY NOW HUMANS?
Me and Sophie Vizsla found a stick and played chase me stick. It was hot playing chase me stick so we stopped for a rest and waited for our humans to catch up.
HAVING A REST

IT WAS A GOOD STICK
We were hot and thirsty after all that zooming so we were pleased to see the splishy splashy reservoir again.
THIS WAY HUMANS!
When we got back to the splishy splashy reservoir there were some flying zoomer birds. These flying zoomer birds were called leave it Oystercatchers and leave it Common Sandpiper. They were making a lot of noise so we chased them away.

After we went swimming we were very tired. It was time to go back to the adventure travel zoomer.
DID THEY REALLY SAY NO ICE CREAM?
The adventure travel zoomer took us to Sophie Vizsla's house. Sophie shares her house and humans with a leave it cat called Jess and a leave it cat called Bella. Aunty Hilary gave me an important lesson about leave it cats. She told me they are special rescue leave it cats. Sophie Vizsla knows all about leave it cats. Leave it cats and special rescue leave it cats have bad tempers and sharp claws that scratch noses. They are not to be messed with.

A nice surprise

This morning when I was out walking with my human with the hair, I had a nice surprise. I found my puppy trainer Aunty Wendy walking with her furry family. Aunty Wendy doesn't have a vizsla, she has large munsterlanders called Lila and Ruby, and looks after a spaniel puppy called Ivy.

Aunty Wendy was very pleased to see me, and I was very pleased to see her too.  I zoomed with Ivy puppy and did some fishing vizsla style with Ruby.  Aunty Wendy says Lila can't zoom any more because she is getting old and tired. Lila likes biscuits.

Viz Whizz - Wynyards Country Park

When my girlfriend Sophie Vizsla came to stay my humans took us out in the adventure travel zoomer to zoom at a Viz Whizz called Wynyards Country Park. Sophie was so excited she didn't want her breakfast and I still wanted to sleep after our early morning mini adventure zoom.

SOPHIE TOO EXCITED FOR BREAKFAST

ME TOO ASLEEP FOR BREAKFAST!

There were lots of vizslas at the zoom. Me and sophie zoomed at the front. We hadn't been zooming long when we came to a blockage called kissing gate. This is Bodie Vizsla's humans. They were in charge and had to do gate duty. We didn't have time to kiss them!
HURRY UP BODIE VIZSLA'S HUMANS!
BODIE VIZSLA

Bodie Vizsla is a half wirey vizsla. He has furry paws and a furry nose. He likes zooming.

ME AND SOPHIE PLAYING TUG IT STICK

I played tug it stick with Sophie Vizsla. Sophie Vizsla is good at tug it stick.

MOSS THE WIREY VIZSLA PUPPY

All the humans did lots of talking and lots of the takling was about a wirey vizlsla puppy called Moss. Moss Puppy was having his first zoom.

MOSS AND ALFIE VIZSLA

Me and Sophie Vizsla were too busy playing tug it stick to say hello to Moss Puppy. There was a grown up wirey vizsla called Alfie.

HARVEY VIZSLA, HANDSOME IN BLUE

My humans said Moss Puppy has some growing to do. Soon he will be as big as Harvey Vizsla. Harvey Vizsla is a big puppy like me!

VILMA VIZSLA IN HER SPARKLE COLLAR

My friend Vilma Vizsla was wearing her sparkle collar she won at her Scottish Mega Whizz adventure.  My human with the hair said she looked very pretty. I didn't notice.

A SNEAKY EAR WASH

There were some humans zooming on adventure travel zoomers called leave it bicycles. We had to wait for them to zoom away so I washed my human without the hair's ear and Sophie Vizsla had a cuddle.

When it was time to go home we said goodbye to all our human and vizsla friends.  This is Moss Puppy saying goodbye. I might romp with him next time.

BYE BYE MOSS PUPPY, UNTIL NEXT TIME

Sunday Morning Mini Adventure

When we woke up and looked outside we saw it was raining. Me and Sophie decided to stay inside. My humans went out anyway. Because we couldn't let them go without us there to watch them, we had to go too. Naughty humans!

NO HUMANS, ITS RAINING!
On the way to the green zooming place we have to cross a thing called road where adventure travel zoomers zoom. Sophie Vizsla sits to wait for the zoomers to go away. I stand and wait. My humans say that adventure travel zoomers are for zooming in not with.
SOPHIE SITTING
We were wet anyway so me and Sophie took my humans into the splishy splashy river for some fishing. We love fishing.
FISHING VIZSLA STYLE
After fishing we did some zooming. the green zooming place has lots of room for zooming.
WHICH WAY?
At the end of the green zooming place there is a little splishy splashy place called bog. These are the best sorts of splishy splashy places and there was a present waiting for us. The noisy wind had left us a giant stick.
THIS IS A GOOD STICK
Me and Sophie tried to zoom with the giant stick but it was too big for zooming. Then I found a smaller stick and we played chase me stick.
CHASE ME SOPHIE
On the way home my humans said we were grubby vizslas and we would have to do a thing called wash in the splishy splashy river. I didn't want to do a thing called wash so I was allowed to go swimming for sticks instead. I found a good stick for swimming.
THIS ONE'S FOR SWIMMING
Sophie wasn't sure swimming in the splishy splashy river was safe. She watched me swim but had to keep watch on my humans too.

IS IT SAFE HUMANS?
SHOWING OFF FOR SOPHIE

My humans said we were clean vizslas and it was time to go home for a sleep and then breakfast.

TIME FOR A SLEEP

Zooming with Sophie, Stanley and Albert Vizsla

When my girlfriend Sophie Vizsla came to stay, my humans arranged an adventure walk with Uncle John, Stanley Vizsla and Albert Vizsla. We did lots of zooming and some splishy splashing.

THIS WAY TUSSOCK AND HUMANS

When we arrived at Stanley and Albert Vizsla's house they were waiting for us at the gate. They took us to meet their human, Uncle John. It was very exciting; we did some zooming in the garden and my humans did some talking with Uncle John. Then it was time to go on our adventure walk.

COLLECTING STICKS

There was a splishy splashy place on our adventure walk and I watched Stanley and Albert Vizslas swim for sticks. I wanted to swim for sticks too but they were too fast for me so I watched and waited and collected sticks.

MY FIRST SWIM

Uncle John said it was my turn to swim for sticks. Sophie, Stanley and Albert had to sit and watch while Uncle John threw a stick for me.

I WAS VERY WET

My humans were very proud when I swam for the stick. It was wet! I think Sophie was proud too!

PLAYING CHASE ME WITH MY STICK

We played chase me with my stick. Stanley Vizsla didn't want to play chase me!
MY HUMAN WITHOUT THE HAIR ZOOMING

Our humans did some zooming. They can't zoom as fast as us so we did some romping while we waited for them.

THOSE ARE LEAVE IT SWANS SOPHIE

We found a splishy splashy place called fishing pond. My humans said it's a deep splishy splashy place good for swimming. The leave it swans came so I didn't swim.

ME, SOPHIE, STANLEY & ALBERT VIZSLA

When we got back to Stanley and Albert's house our humans did some more talking and we did lots of romping and zooming. Me and Sophie like Stanley and Albert and Uncle John. They have good adventure walks.

ME AND SOPHIE SHARING CUDDLES

When we got home, we cuddled up with my human with the hair and went to sleep until dinner time!
