More Holiday Visitors

On Wednesday I took my humans for a walk in the estate to the visitor centre. After that Aunty Jan's friends Aunty Kim, Uncle Trevor and Harvey the Labrador came to dinner.

A BIG STICK

This is me on my walk with a big stick. It was too big to zoom with.

THIS IS THE LEAVE IT TUP

We saw lots of leave it sheep and lambs. Then we saw the daddy of the lambs called leave it tup. His fur was falling off and he must be very cold and itchy.

SAYING HELLO TO THE COWS

On the way home from our walk we stopped to say hello to the leave it cows. They stared at us and then tried to chase us. My human without the hair said the fence was very short and I should have a healthy respect for something that weighs a ton and can move faster than me. We walked quickly.

ME AND HARVEY WERE TOO HOT

When Harvey and his humans arrived it was too hot to romp in the holiday house. I sat by
Aunty Jan. She had her furry slippers on but I didn't chew them.

OUTSIDE WITH AUNTY JAN AND OUR VISITORS

We all went outside to cool down. I thought Harvey would zoom but he just wanted to cool down and sniff and chew sticks.

Harvey slept under the table at dinner time where it was cold. I went to sleep by the crackly fire.

Beach Zooming at Doonfoot and Culzean

Yesterday my humans took me for a ride in the adventure travel zoomer to the beach. On the way we went to the big house where beds and toys and treats come from, and now I have chicken feet. Chicken feet are nice and crunchy.

ZOOMING WITH WADING BIRDS

When we got to the beach I went to see the flying things called wading birds. They zoomed but I couldn't keep up.

DIGGING IN SOFT SAND

So then I did some digging in the soft sand. It got up my nose but I made a big hole.

DIGGING BY THE SEA

LOOKING FOR MY DIGGING
I thought I'd try digging in the sand by the splishy splashy sea. It didn't go up my nose but I couldn't make a big hole, and the splishy splashy sea stole my digging

THE WADING BIRDS ZOOMED TOO FAST

I went to zoom with more wading birds but they zoomed too fast and I couldn't keep up again. So I did some paddling.
PADDLING IN THE SEA

Then I found a new friend called Clancy. He isn't a vizsla like me and wasn't very good at zooming, but he liked my holes so I did some more digging.

ME AND CLANCY

On our way back to the adventure travel zoomer we found a leave it star fish.  I love the beach.

Holiday visitors

While we were on holiday at the Scottish mega whizz, we had visitors. On Sunday after the big whizz, Mara Vizsla and her humans Aunty Trisha and Uncle David came to our holiday house for tea and cake.
MARA VIZSLA SITTING NICELY

Mara Vizsla has very nice manners and sat nicely. We were very tired after all the zooming.

On Monday we had a rest day at the holiday house. I took my human without the hair exploring around the estate, then Miss Katie Butters came to visit with her human Flick and her friend Aunty Alli.  Miss Katie has nice manners like Mara and doesn't play with me like my girlfriend Sophie does.  I was very excited when Aunty Alli fetched Angus and Dougal vizslas. Angus and I did romping outside.

Scottish Mega Whizz - Sunday

Kizviz Katie Butters had a big party in Scotland for all the vizslas that don't have nice humans and I went. This year for her party she had a camping house with lots of nice things for humans to buy inside. There was another camping house with a man and a big flashy thing. Then there was a zoom that started with a human making howling noises from a big sticky bag called bagpipes. After that there was a yummy dinner called a barbeque. Then there was a thing called a raffle and a thing called an auction. Katie knows how to make a good party.

I liked the zoom best. There were lots of vizslas and I made some new friends.

ME WITH KIZVIZ KATIE

I met Katie. She was very busy making sure her party was just right, but didn't mind stopping to say hello.

ZOOMING

This is me zooming with two of my new friends. I was so excited I forgot to ask their names.

WATCHING FROM UNDER A TREE

When we got to the splishy splashy place it was a bit busy so I hid under a tree and watched to start with.

THAT LOOKS LIKE A GOOD STICK

Then there were sticks so I came out from under the tree but I didn't want to swim.

THAT WASN'T MY STICK

I tried asking for the sticks but these sticks were for swimming not for zooming.

WATCHING FOR STICKS

My new friend Brodie Mud Sponge came from Ireland. He is a hairy vizsla and likes zooming too.

After the zooming I was very tired so I went to sleep in the adventure travel zoomer. When I woke up I was allowed out to see the thing called auction and the thing called raffle. I got some new pyjamas from the camping house and the man in the camping house with the flashy thing pointed the flashy thing at me. I didn't look but he made a picture and gave it to my humans as a present.

MY NEW FROGGY PYJAMAS

Scottish Mega Whizz - Saturday

This weekend has been a bit special. I've been to the Scottish Mega Whizz and stayed in a holiday house with my humans and Auntie Jan. Aunty Jan likes cuddles. The holiday house has a crackly fire and I can run around outside.

On Saturday we had a day out with Mara Vizsla and Vilma Vizsla and their humans to visit a big wheel and some big horses.

THE FALKIRK WHEEL

The big wheel picks up water houses and moves them from from one splishy splashy place to another splishy splashy place. The humans looked at it a lot but we just wanted to zoom and eat ice creams!

ME, MARA, VILMA & OUR HUMANS

Uncle David took this nice picture of me with Mara Vizsla, Aunty Trisha, Vilma Vizsla, Aunty Jane, Uncle Robert and my humans by the big wheel.
VILMA AND THE LEAVE IT SWANS

After we looked at the big wheel we zoomed to the big horses. It was a long way. We saw leave it swans.

The big horses don't have any legs and can't do anything. No zooming or chewing or eating ice creams. Not even cuddles. I'm glad I'm a vizsla not a big horse.

THE KELPIES

NO LEGS

We stopped for a rest by the big horses because our humans were very tired. Then it rained so we had a ride back on the giant travel zoomer. I slept most of the way!

Sleepover with Sophie

I've been on a two night sleepover with Sophie. It was very tiring because Sophie is a very demanding girlfriend, wanting lots of attention and tuggy games. We shared everything, even our dinners. Sophie tried to get me a squirrel but her humans made her let it go!

WATCHING CATS IS HARD WORK

I fell asleep on cat watch.  It was a big job and tired me out.

ME WITH SOPHIE

I like to lie near Sophie and she likes to rest her head on me.

MY NEW BED COVER

When I got home my humans gave me a present. A new bed cover made by clever Granny French.

Camping at Coniston, Cumbria

JUST CHECKING THE SPLISHY SPLASHY PLACE

WE'RE DOING IT - TASTY TREATS PLEASE!
It's just as well my human with the hair took me for a romp with Sophie and her human with the nice treats before we went camping, because I had to sit in the adventure travel zoomer for ages and stay there whilst the camping house was built!

Sophie's human always has nice treats!

The new camping house came out of the big bag with crossness that made my humans hold their heads. I watched the fun from the adventure travel zoomer.

BEER AND MY HUMAN WITHOUT THE HAIR

Camping houses should always be made at home first! If there isn't time this can be fixed by other humans and the head holding is stopped by your humans drinking Bacardi or Beer.

FETCHING THE WATER

DINNER
There is lots of going outside and fetching things needed for camping adventures. A big water holder was very useful, but not too big or you'll miss out on trips outside filling it up!

It said bird food on the label (yes I can read!) but it was my dinner and tasty treats inside and my table with my bowl on top.

WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT?

My human with the hair kept pointing the flashy thing that stares at me!
STILL LOOKING?

I'LL IGNORE YOU THEN YOU'LL STOP IT!

This 'ignore the bad behaviour' works really well on my humans!

ME AND MY HUMAN WITH THE HAIR

Don't forget the thing called selfie. My human with the hair isn't very good at it!

THOSE ARE LEAVE IT LAMBS

The leave it sheep, leave it lambs and leave it cows were camping too. I didn't mind as it rained a lot and they weren't allowed to share our camping house.

CHEWING ANTLER ON MY DAY BED

When it rained I chewed antler on my day bed and had lots of cuddles. My day bed is my adventure travel zoomer bed too. I was snuggly in my fleece from Auntie Julie with the cave beds.

MY BED

I love my bed. It was toasty warm and I could hear the howly wind and pattery rain. In the morning I decided I'd stay in bed.
VISITORS MEANS EXTRA CUDDLES
THAT'S NOT MY HAM SANDWICH

I was allowed on my humans bed too. This is me with our visitor Louise. My human with no hair didn't share the ham sandwich. That was mean!

My humans thought it would be fun to do a Wainwright called Harter Fell, with friends James and Louise. It was windy and rainy and snowy. There were leave it sheep so I couldn't zoom but I didn't need to zoom because I had my coat on. I missed my girlfriend Sophie Vizsla!

ON THE WAINRIGHT
JAMES AND LOUISE KISSES

I was let off swimming lessons because the camping splishy splashy place was icy cold. My human with the hair said I could wait until it warms up.

THE CAMPING SPLISHY SPLASHY PLACE

My humans thinks it's okay to keep pointing the flashy thing at me when I'm playing in the tussocks because I'm Tussock. That's silly, but I don't mind because they take me out in the adventure travel zoomer and I like camping!

IGNORE THEM AND HIDE BEHIND A TUSSOCK!
